Introduction

Mike Geier is the well-traveled former front man of notorious swinging retro-lounge band, The Useless Playboys. Since his new band, The Action Slacks, is on hiatus to write songs and prepare for future endeavors, Mike comes down from Richmond, Virginia, to do the Taboo Revue becuase, as he describes, he "always can get it up for a good cause." His next big project will use The Useless Playboys as a springboard to compose and perform music which still definitely swings but is a little more contemporary. In his words, "It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing."
