History

March 2000
Got a note from Justin about a new release:
Justin here letting you know that we have recorded two albums for Merge records in Chapel Hill ("Baby, a little rain must fall" and "Golden Time"), and are currently underway getting another one together. We played in most major US cities (and one in canada) with ManOrAstroman last spring. later,
Justin.

September, 1997
Stomp and Stammer reveals some info about the Rock*A*Teens:

The Rock*A*Teens have unveiled their new lineup. Kelly Hogan is out, of course. What's surprising is that so is Chris Verene. Joining remaining members Chris Lopez (guitar, vocals) and Justin Hughes (guitar) are Jeff Patch (ex-Hepburns) on drums, and Brendan (Titanics) on guitar. They have recorded a 7" for Merge Records for release later this year, with a full length likely to follow, along with a west coast tour opening for Superchunk in October. Oh, yeah, they did a 7" for Kill Rock Stars, too! Look for both singles before year's end.

Summer 1994
Formed in the summer of 1994 in Cabbagetown, GA from the remnants of the Jody Grind, DQE, Opal Foxx Quartet.
