According to a Creative Loafing article by Tony Paris, and archived by Lifeblood, in May:

The White Dot presented "An Evening With The Garbageman," hosted by former Chowder Shouter and sometime Zulu Junk man Bill Taft. The variety show turns into a band, due in part, to Taft's decision to finally play music, and Kelly Hogan's vocals.
